Examples New media includes things like websites, digital communities, social media, mobile apps, virtual and immersive environments. The Difference New media differs from old media such as newspapers and television in that it calls for everyone to participate. This is very different from the old model whereby information is broadcast in one direction from media to audiences. Why new?
